The simple definition of arthrogryposis is "a syndrome of persistent joint contractures present at birth"
We have experienced a 4 days-old male baby who had multiple joint contractures with
muslce atrophy.
Diagnosis was arthrogryposis multiplex congenita and made by clinical finding.
A brief review of the literature was made. |

We experienced a case of asphyxiating thoracic dystrophy in one day old female with a chief
complaint of respiratory difficulty, cyanosis, small thoracic cage and polydactyly. The diagnosis was
made on the basis of typical morphologic feature, radiologic finding and autopsy finding.
A brief review of the related literature was made. |
